Hello Appreciated Visitors,
Following is a description of my recently published book, Your Positive Potential: Action Steps for Self-Empowerment.
The first half of the book is filled with real life scenarios with possible solutions from my own life experiences, and portrayed with fictitious names. An interactive activity called Life Experiment proves that the past is gone and we cannot change it, so the next best thing is to take steps forward for self-empowerment.
In a nutshell, this book provides:
• Provides useful resources with contact information
• Teaches simple techniques for choice-making
• Empowers the individual to take action
• Challenges the reader’s habits
• Demonstrates ways to exercise self-discipline
• Recommended readings
• Proactive resources
• 12-page personal journal
Centralized in the areas of self-awareness, health, meditation, and relationships, the core of this book is self-discipline which transforms into self-empowerment with practice.
Thank you for visiting. hope to meet you online

7 Components for Living a Balanced Life
Living a balanced life when your schedule is full of items to do can be quite the challenge. But with dedication to your well being, a balanced life can be achieved. Following are just seven of the most important components for living a balanced life.
Seven Components for Living a Balanced Life:
- Good Eating Habits: Eating at a fast food restaurant now and then is not harmful, but it’s not something you want to make a habit out of. Make an honest attempt to eat fresh vegetables and fruits daily, and watch out for those sweet snacks full of empty calories.
- Regular Exercise: This doesn’t have to mean that you go to the gym every day, but some form of regular exercise every other day can be very beneficial to your circulatory system and can help bring oxygen to your cells to keep you in good spirits.
- No Smoking: You’re already surrounded by enough carcinogens for which you have no control over. Smoking is one carcinogen you do have control over and don’t have to inhale. Your lungs are very valuable to your healthy living.
- Healthy Body Weight: Excess body weight can take a toll on your legs and on your back and can even cause permanent damage to your lower extremities. Make an attempt to reach a healthy body weight for your body type. When you reach your desired body weight, then you can do your best to maintain it.
- Good Night’s Rest: Getting seven to eight hours of sleep per night is the recommended ideal. It helps keep your reflexes alert so you may respond appropriately in any given crisis situation. It also helps in maintaining emotional balance. Have you ever noticed how your emotions are exaggerated when you’re tired?
- Quiet Time: Spend some type of quiet time with yourself without any stress. This is the perfect time to regain your sense of balance in your life and help reduce stress. A meditation practice can count as part of your quiet time. It helps you get a moment of clarity.
- Conscious Contact with your Higher Power: When you wake up in the morning, you can be grateful and say “Thank you for a new day” and at bedtime say “Thank you for today”. Keeping a conscious contact with your Higher Power lets you know you’re not alone.
Implement these seven valuable components into your daily life and your body will reward you with good health. Do it for the one and only body you possess. You have that choice daily; use it wisely with dedication to your well being. You can do it!
So what does this have to do with Writing?
Nothing. It’s just a sample writing for my tiny freelance writing business.

Hello Writing Students,
Between being a second language learner myself and having the willingness to learn the language, I’ve put together a book just for you, titled:
“Writing Tips for Student Projects and New Freelance Writers”
As if conducting interviews, polls and surveys for this book wasn’t enough, the title was tough to come up with. At first it was just going to be a book for students, but then I thought… Hmm, I really should incorporate some freelance writing experience in it, so the last part of the titled was added.
YIKES! Then trying to decide how much of each was another challenge. But honestly, it was FUN to put together.
Anyway, if you’re looking for a book on Writing Tips from a Freelance Writer you may find this book very useful.
Thanks for visiting my WordPress Blog, I hope you’ve had a pleasant experience. Do come back and visit, I’m just getting warmed up
